      I have claimed emergency unemployment this year. Do I need to report that on my return?

      Yes.

      You will need to report that on your return. You can access your unemployment 1099 on the state's unemployment website labor.ny.gov. Just sign into your account, go to unemployment services, then click on ‘Get your NYS 1099-G’.
